Week 9 Recap – Hounds Getting 2 Wins This Week

Week 9 of LMFL action brought clutch performances, dominant pitching, and explosive bats as teams battled to position themselves for the stretch run. Here’s a look back at this week’s results:


Connaught Jazz 4 – 0 Connaught Rangers

The Jazz were in control from the start, combining solid pitching and timely hits. Robbie Epp started strong with 3 strikeouts, while Caleb Koko secured the save, striking out four. Offensively, Pete Collins went 1-for-2 with 2 RBI, and Lukas Linde added another 2 RBI. Despite the loss, Rangers pitcher Cuco was dominant on the mound, tallying an impressive 13 strikeouts.


Langley Hounds 8 – 2 Ladner Masters

In a shortened 4-inning matchup, the A’s made the most of their chances. Nate Thiessen earned the win, while teammates Shields and Webster each contributed 2 hits to seal the victory.


⚾ Vancouver Lomas 8 – 3 Surrey Rebels

The Lomas continued their strong season with a well-rounded win over the Rebels. T. Lindgren turned in a dominant pitching performance, racking up 7 strikeouts. At the plate, Derek Mayson went 3-for-4, and M. Dobie added firepower with a 2-for-4 day that included 2 runs and 3 RBI.


⚾ Langley Hounds 11 – 5 Richmond Rays

The Langley Hounds closed the week with their second win, this time over the Richmond Rays. Josh Anderson picked up the win, while Mitchell Armstrong delivered a key moment with a 2-run homer. Ryan Stanford took the loss for the Rays.
