The Surrey Rebels put on an absolute clinic on both sides of the ball, cruising to an 8-1 victory over the Connaught Rangers.

  • The Bats: Surrey’s offense was firing on all cylinders, racking up 10 hits. James Mauro and Marcus Thiessen led the charge with 2 hits apiece, while Matt Parsons and Reilly Singel both mashed doubles.

  • The Offense: Langley brought the lumber, pounding out 13 hits. Jonathan Aragon and Sean Greenlay came up huge, each crossing the plate twice, while Anthony Armstrong drove in 2 crucial runs.

The Vancouver Lomas put on a masterclass in situational hitting, dismantling the Surrey Rebels 10-1 by breaking the game wide open with back-to-back 4-run innings in the 5th and 6th.

  • The Star: Derek Mayson did it all. On the mound, he pitched 4.0 innings of 1-hit ball with 9 strikeouts to secure the win. At the plate, he went yard with a massive home run and drove in 4 RBIs.
  • Supporting Cast: Ian Creamore and Clint Taylor both hit doubles to keep the line moving.
  • Rebels’ Outlook: It was a tough night for Surrey’s bats, managing only 3 hits against a fierce Vancouver pitching staff, though Jason Buhr managed to score their lone run.

The reigning champion Steveston Canadians showed exactly why they are a force to be reckoned with, systematically taking down the Ladner Masters 6-1.

  • Balanced Attack: Steveston generated 10 hits from up and down the lineup. Brendon Creyke drove in 2 runs, while Yoshi Hikida and Imran Kamrudin kept the pressure on the basepaths.
  • On the Mound: Jason Turner was locked in, going the full 7.0 innings, giving up only 4 hits and 1 earned run to earn the “W.”
  • Masters’ Notes: Miles Martyniuk fought hard for Ladner, hitting a triple and driving in their only run, but was stuck with the loss after a tough night on the mound.
