With just one week left before the Craig Donaldson Memorial LMFL Playoff Weekend at Softball City, Week 15 brought plenty of action and some key shifts in the standings.
The Vancouver Meralomas strengthened their hold on first place, improving to 12-2 with a dominant 10-2 win over the Richmond Rays, led by winning pitcher Evan Willis.
The Rangers continued their strong push, shutting out Ladner 2-0 before moving to 9-6-1 on the season.
Surrey took the field for a doubleheader, falling 7-0 to the Richmond A’s before bouncing back with a big 10-4 win over the Langley Thunder, thanks to a strong performance from Josh Anderson on the mound.
The Richmond A’s had a busy week as well, opening with a 1-1 tie against the Islanders, then closing out with that impressive win over Surrey.
