The Lower Mainland Fastpitch League (LMFL) wrapped up its regular season with a full slate of games that brought drama, big performances, and final shuffles in the standings.
Final Week Highlights
- The Ladner Masters stunned the Richmond Rays with a 4–2 win, led by pitcher Russ Grey.
- The Canadians had a strong finish, shutting out the Jazz 6–0 behind Brad Miller, and later defeating the Rangers 6–2, with Miller picking up his second win of the week.
- The Vancouver Lomas closed out with a 4–0 victory over the Connaught Meralomas, thanks to Tyler Lindgren on the mound.
- The Surrey Rebels capped their season with a 7–1 win over the Rays, highlighted by Zane Davies.
- The Steveston Rebels added two big wins, first taking down the A’s 7–3 and then edging the Langley Hounds 8–6, with Rene D’Entremont picking up both victories.
With the dust settled, Vancouver Lomas finished atop the standings at 16–2 (.889), followed by the Surrey Rebels (12–6) and Steveston Canadians (11–6–1). The Athletics, Rangers, and Rays rounded out the middle of the pack, while the Jazz, Hounds, Meralomas, and Masters will look to bounce back in the postseason.
Playoffs Begin August 22–24 at Softball City
The action now shifts to Softball City, where the 2025 LMFL Playoffs will run this weekend. All 10 teams will battle in a double-knockout format, with each guaranteed at least three games. The Richmond Athletics opted out of the playoffs.

- Game #2 (7:00PM, Diamond 4): Connaught Jazz vs. Steveston Canadians
